Kodansha adds Clockwork Planet manga series

Its been confirmed by Kodansha Comics at its Anime Expo panel in LA that it has licensed the Clockwork Planet manga series, the manga series first released September 26th 2013 and the fourth volume was published December 29th. The manga has been releasing in Kodansha’s Monthly Shounen Sirius since its release and the fifth volume released in March. Originally the series was a light novel that released and also has an anime adaption in the works. Following this is the story of the series which can be seen below quoted from MAL:

Everyone on the Clockwork Planet considers Naoto Miura a machinery nut. Every moment of every day, he has his mind on gears and his hands tinkering with delicate mechanical motors. But nobody understand how he can hear and feel gears in operation, even from a long distance away. Then one day, a clockwork maiden falls from the sky, presaging events that would shake the whole world…
