4th Persona 3 film releases English subtitled trailer

Today Aniplex of America has streamed an English subtitled for the Persona 3 The Movie #4 Winter of Rebirth, the movie is the fourth and final movie adapting Atlus’s Persona 3 game series. The following video is a English subtitled version of the trailer for the series, the trailer also shows the theme song Boku no Akashi by Yumi Kawamura. The film will be released on August 3rd as a Blu-ray Disc by Aniplex of America as both a standard edition and Collector’s Edition. Both of the releases will include bonus trailers, audio commentary and commercials. However in the Collector’s Edition that will include an English translated version of the 48 paged deluxe booklet and a memorial film strip. Originally the film released January 3rd in Japanese theaters, the first film released November 23rd 2013, the second movie released June 7th 2015 and the third movie released April 4th 2015.

Persona 5 unveils new party member and videos

There has been a new party member unveiled by Atlus for their upcoming Persona 5 game for the PS3 and PS4 during a E3 livestream, the characters name is Goro Akechi and is both a high school student and detective. An image was unveiled him as well which will be shown later in the article as well as gameplay videos for three of the games cooperation characters and a E3 trailer which is a English subtitled version of the fourth promotional video which released last month. In addition the game is currently considering a dual audio option which will add Japanese voices to the game as DLC, and the game itself will release September 15th in Japan and February 14th 2017 in the US for the PS3 and PS4 with animation sequences down by Production I.G.

Persona 5 Japanese voice track a possible DLC option

A confirmation by Atlus USA public relations manager John Hardin has stated on Twitter that a Japanese voice over DLC for Persona 5. He later stated that “And regarding expectations, know that this is a massively steep, uphill request”. The game is so far only set to include an English dub. The game will release September 15th in Japan and in the US February 14th 2017 for the PS3 and PS4, its animation sequences are being done by Production I.G as well. The game will also have two special editions,  a “Take Your Heart” and “Steel Book” launch editions. In the Take Your Heart edition that will include soundtrack CD in a CD sleeve with special Persona 5 artwork, 4′ Morgana plush, 64 page hardcover art book by character designer Shigenori Soejima and a school bag which is designed after tradition Japanese school bags, this will cost $89.99. The Steel Book launch edition will cost $59.99 and have the same SteelBook case as the Take Your Heart edition. Finally the regular PS3 edition of the game will be priced at $49.99.

Persona 5 US release to have only English audio and text

A confirmation recently has stated that the upcoming Persona 5 game will not have a dual language option,  due to this the game will only have English audio and text. There was a statement by Atlus saying that the games English script “provides a faithful and engaging play experience.” There were also two gameplay videos released today at E3, one was released by IGN and the other by Gamespot releasing the same gameplay video but with theirs including Morgana’s English dub voice. The game will release September 15th in Japan and in the US February 14th 2017 for the PS3 and PS4, its animation sequences are being done by Production I.G as well.

Persona 5 anime sequences by Production I.G confirmed

It was confirmed as of late that the anime studio Production I.G confirmed that they are doing the anime sequences in the Persona 5 game series. The game will be releasing in Japan September 15th and will be a Playstation exclusive only will releasing on the PS3 and PS4. Pricing information and bonuses set for its 20th anniversary edition will also be shown later in the article as well as information regarding the Persona 5 TV anime special and orchestral concert. During next months E3 more information regarding the upcoming game will be released. Originally the game was set to release Winter 2014 but was delayed until 2015, the release date was pushed back and was originally confirmed for this Summer. Persona 5 website launches countdown

Today Atlus’s website for their upcoming PS3 and PS4 game has launched a countdown for the games release, the countdown is set to end at May 5th 10:30 PM JST or 9:30 AM EDT. On the website it also featured the numbers “0505”. Mind you that the following game will be released in Japan this coming Summer and already has a North American release date as well. Originally the game was set to release Winter 2014 but was delayed until 2015, the release date was pushed back however again to this coming Summer. Back on Atlus’s Persona Special Stage event at the Tokyo Game Show in 2015 they had also confirmed a TV anime special for Persona 5 which will be broadcasted on TV, it has not been confirmed as to when this will release however. An image was also released today in regards to the countdown for the upcoming game.

4th Persona 3 movie releases new key visual and promo

On the official website for the Persona 3 film, there was a update which revealed a new key visual which can be seen above, and a newly released promo video for the final Persona 3 movie which will be shown later in the article. The final film mind you is titled Persona 3 The Movie #4 Winter of Rebirth and the movie is set to release in theaters January 23rd 2016. On January 2016 the 3rd film is set to be released on home video, the second one was released March 11th 2015 on home video and the first one May 2014 on home video as well. Also on September 5th participating theaters throughout Japan sold advanced tickets for 1,500 yen, those came with a 2016 calendar featuring the key visuals showcased thus far. The recently released promo for the movie can also be seen below:
