Persona 5 announces English-dub cast list

Today the English cast for the Persona 5 PS4 and PS3 game has been announced by Atlus USA, a listing of the cast will be shown later in the article. There was also a video released as well which highlights the protagonist whom is voiced by Xander Mobus and a video of Mobus discussing the role with PR manager John Hardin. The game which released September 15th in Japan is set for February 14th in the US and Europe, An additional performance by Game Syphony Japan 18th Concert Atlus Special ~Persona 20th Anniversary~ orchestra project is set for November 27th at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, also the Persona 30th Fes event will run from December 8th to December 18th at the Arts Chiyoda 3331 complex in Tokyo’s Akihabara in the style of high school festivals. Next AKG will offer the wireless headphones AKG K845BT which recreates the headphones used by the character Futaba Sakura for 39,800 yen.

Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash showcases Hanzou Academy character designs

The upcoming Senran Kagura Peach beach Splash game has released six new character images today featuring the Hanzou Academy girls. The game will be releasing in Japan on March 16th 2017 for the PS4. There will be a full feature by Famitsu in their magazine for the game in its October 20th issue on October 6th. Originally the franchise began on the Nintendo 3DS on September 2011 under the title Senran Kagura Burst, the latest in the series being a PS Vita and PS4 release titled Senran Kagura: Estival Versus. The game released in Japan March 2015 and received a western release in March earlier this year, a Sakura Edition update for the game in Japan also was released earlier this year. Let it also be known that the games spawned an anime adaption for the series that started its release January 6th 2013 and ended March 24th 2013 releasing 12 episodes in total, an OVA bundled with Senran Kagura: Estival Versus was later released March 26th 2015 with a single episode.

Girls und Panzer film releases English-dubbed trailer plus more

An English-dubbed trailer trailer has been released today for the Girls und Panzer film which announces that the movie will be screening in theaters in North America in November. Last month Sentai Filmworks had licensed the film and they have said that more details are set to be listed by them in terms of the films distribution, release date and streaming offerings as well at a later date. The movie which released November 21st 2015 is a sequel of a 12 episode anime series which released between the dates of October 9th 2012 and ended March 25th 2013. It would later get other spin offs for its anime and a manga adaption as well as a novel series, the novel series would tell the story from Saori’s point of view. A new project titled Girls und Panzer: The Final Chapter is also in the works.

Below is a plot summary of the series quoted from ANN:

Imagine a world where humanity lives on enormous carrier ships. In Girls und Panzer, not only do these community ships support entire towns, they also host military-themed sports events that use tanks. Popular among high school girls, tankery, as the sport is known, claims to make young women strong, graceful, and popular with boys.
Despite this, not every girl likes tankery. Miho Nishizumi comes from a long line of famous tankery practitioners, but a traumatic event drove her to abandon the sport. She even goes as far as to transfer to Oarai High School because it has no tankery team. Unfortunately, Miho joins the student body just as they’re about to resurrect the sport. Because she’s the only girl in the entire high school with prior tankery experience, the student council forces her to join the team. Can Miho’s new friends and teammates help her overcome her traumatic past experiences and go on to win the national tankery championships?

Gundam the Origin vol.4 releases English-dubbed trailer

Today on the Gundam.info portal site there has been a new English-dubbed trailer released for the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin IV Eve of Destiny, the following newly released trailer is a English-dubbed version of the animes second trailer. The Japan release date mind you is also released in the promotional video which is confirmed for November 19th. In the fourth episode it will deal with the  first ever mobile suit battle and Char’s fateful encounter with Amuro Ray, Lalah Sune and “the legendary Dr. Minovsky” and conclude Char and Sayla’s story. It will also cover the development of the  MS-04 and RX-78Gundam. The series will be releasing this Fall and will enter the Loum Arc after the fourth episode which will cover the Battle of Loum.

Corpse Party 3DS game set for October 25th

Today XSEED Games has confirmed that their Nintendo 3DS version of Corpse Party will release October 25th and will release Exile’s End on the same day for the PS4 and PS Vita. There will also be a “Back to School Edition” of the game which will be released at a price of $49.99 and a digital release on the Nintendo eShop for $29.99. The special edition will come with Seiko Shinohara and Naomi Nakashima figures and a soundtrack CD. An image will be showcased later showcasing this. Mind you that the game released on July 30th in Japan and is based off of the Corpse Party Blood Covered Repeated Fear game which released for the PSP 3000 August 12th 2010 originally. That is a port off the Corpse Party Blood Covered game for the PC that released between March 13th 2008 and August 28th 2013. The reason for this was because March 13th is when the first three chapters released for it followed by the fourth and final one August 28th.

Fate/Extella releases Arturia gameplay video

A new video has bee released today for the upcoming Fate/Extella game for the PS4 and PS Vita, the video itself showcases the servant Arturia and her Noble Phantasm Excalibur. The upcoming game mind you will be release November 10th in Japan, early 2017 in North America and Winter in Europe and Australia and a simultaneous will release under the title Fate/Extella: The Umral Star as a physical and digital release on the PSN store in Europe and Australia for its localization release under the title Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star by XSEED Games. The game will have also have a “Noble Phantasm Edition” which contains a custom box, 16 cards representing the servants, cloth poster and a hardcover art book as well. The standard edition will cost $49.99 on the PS4 and $39.99 on the PS Vita, the Noble Phantasm Edition will be priced at $69.99 on the PS4 and $59.99 on the PS Vita. The opening theme song will be done by singer ELISA titled “ex:tella”,  singer and songwriter KOTOKO wrote the lyrics for the song and the song will be on ELISA’s new and yet to be unveiled album for November 30th.
