Love Live! Sunshine!! releases new promo and commercial videos

On the official website for the Love Live! Sunshine!! series a new promotional video as well as two new commercials were released today. The upcoming series will be releasing July 2nd and was originally announced back in February 2015 with the three key phrases “Reader Participation”, “Inspired by ” and “Seaside Town Setting”. The group name Aquors was decided by a fan vote of 23,789 total votes with Aqours consisting of 4,644 of them, this was held in Dengeki G’s magazine which had people vote for the groups name between last June 1st-11th. The project is based off of the Love Live anime series and its first season released January 6th 2013 and ended March 31st 2013 airing 13 episodes. A second season later released April 6th 2014 and June 29th 2014 with 13 episodes. The series is based off of a manga that started January 30th 2012 and since then has been ongoing publication. Other spinoffs and types of media works have been released for both the anime and manga as well.






Now for those of you unfamiliar with the Love Live series below is a plot summary of it quoted from MAL:

Uranohoshi Girls’ High School, a private school in the seaside neighborhood of Uchiura at Numazu city, Shizuoka prefecture
A small high school in a corner of Suruga Bay, it is home to nine teens, led by second-year student Chika Takami, driven by one seriously big dream: To become the next generation of bright, sparkling “school idols”!
As long as we don’t give up, any dream can come true… All we have to do now is keep pushing hard for fame and glory!
Now their “School Idol Project” begins to make their dreams come true!
