BlazBlue: Central Fiction set for Winter North American release

It has been stated by North American video game publisher Aksys Games at MomoCon on Friday that Blazblue: Central Fiction will be releasing in North America this Winter. The game is set for the PS3 and PS4 and will have both a digital and physical release. The game will be releasing in Japan this coming Fall, it first released in Japanese arcades last November. The opening theme song will be done by KOTOKO titled “True-Blue” and the ending theme song by Faylan titled “Blazblue: To the Other Side of the Light”. The series which firstreleased November 19th 2008 for the arcades under the title Blazblue: Calamity Trigger since then has continued with its sequels Blazblue: Continuum Shift and its latest game Blazblue: Chronophantasma. All games first released in Japanese arcades before releasing on consoles, later being localized and finally getting a PC released.

The game will be split into three acts and conclude the story which began from Blazblue: Calamity Trigger, new fighting mechanics will be included. Finally along with the returning playable characters the characters who debuted in the arcade version and will now be playable include Hibiki, Naoto, Izanami, Nine and Es from the XBlaze games. Other characters who are returning include Ragna, Noel, Rachel, Hazama, Izayoi, Jin, Amane, μ -No.12-, Azrael, Litchi, Taokaka, Arakune, Bang, v -No.13-, Makoto, Tsubaki, Λ -No.11-, Platinum, Carl, Relius, Valkenhyn, Tager, Kokonoe, Bullet, Terumi, Celica, Hakumen and Kagura.
