Gundam the Origin vol.4 adds teases new visuals

On the Gundam.info website a teaser visual for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin col 4 Fateful Eve which can be seen above. Teaser images which feature the Loum arc will be shown later in the article. In this episode it will contain the first ever mobile suit battle and Char’s fateful encounter with Amuro Ray, Lalah Sune and “the legendary Dr. Minovsky”. It will also cover the development of the  MS-04 and RX-78 Gundam. The third episode is screening in 15 Japanese theaters for two weeks  and a limited edition version of the Blu-ray disc is on sale at the theaters screening it. The standard Blu-ray disc and DVD will release in Japan June 10th and the collectors edition Blu-ray Disc of the episode will cost 10,000 yen with a special illustration by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, illustration sheets, storyboards and setting material collection. Members of the Bandai Visual Club who pre-order the Blu-ray and those who pre-order it through the Bandai premium store will receive a film frame from the episode, the pre-orders start April 10th.

Originally the series was a manga series that began June 25th 2001 and ended June 26th 2014 releasing 24 volumes in total. It would later get its OVA series with 4 episodes scheduled for release. The first of these episodes were titled “Blue-Eyed Casval” that premiered in a limited engagement in Japanese theater February 2015. Later the series would release its second episode Artesia’s Sorrow which opened in Japan last October. The third episode is currently releasing in theaters titled “Dawn’s Rebellion”. It should also be noted that Anime Consortium Japan is releasing the series worldwide digitally through a premium rental streaming program. There is also a collaboration of Right Stuf and Sunrise the studio who produces the anime series for releasing the series on home video.
