The Japanese game developer Prototype has announced recently that Visual Art’s/Key’s visual novel Air will be ported to the PS Vita and Playstation TV this Summer. It is stated that the port will be adding a visual novel adaption based off of the spinoff visual novel “New Year’s Sky Chapter” which focuses on Kanna and Uraha, and how they first met. There will also be touchscreen functionality to make choices, move through dialogue, jump to the next choices, support for 960×544 pixel resolution and colors which will be better fine tuned for the PS Vita. Originally the visual novel released September 8th 2000 on Windows and would also release on the Dreamcast, PS2, game Boy Advance, PSP, Android and iOS.
