Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records receives anime

In the May issue of Fujimi Shobo’s Dragon Magazine, it is slated to announce that Taro Hitsuji’s light novel series Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records will be receiving an anime. The light novel series began on July 19th 2014 and has since then has been ongoing publication, the fifth volume of the light novel released November 20th in Japan. The series would later get a manga adaption drawn by Aosa Tsunemi in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shounen Ace starting on last March. The second compiled volume shipped by Kadokawa on December 22nd. This Saturday a collection of short stories titled Roku de Nashi Majutsu Koushi to Tsuisou Nishi will be published by Fujimi Shobo. Finally the story of the series can be seen below quoted from MAL:

Sisti attends a magical academy to hone her skills in the magical arts, and hopes to solve the mystery of the enigmatic Sky Castle. After the retirement of her favorite teacher, the replacement, Glen, turns out to be a tardy, lazy, seemingly incompetent bastard of an instructor. How was it that Glen was hand-picked by the best magician in the academy!?
