Glass no Hana to Kowasu Sekai release details announced by Pony Canyon USA


Today Pony Canyon USA has made an announcement for the Glass no Hana to Kowasu Sekai film, the announcement were release details for the film. From what has been stated the film will release on an import edition Blu-ray Disc set to include Japanese audio and English subtitles. There is also set to be a bonus CD which will feature singles, these singles are “Hello” by Ayane Sakura the voice of Dorothy, “Sendan Life” by Yumiri Hanamori the voice of Remo and “Insomnia” by DRisa Taneda the voice of Dual. In the release there is also set to be a special box character drawing by original character designer Kantoku, 88 page special booklet which for the english release will include a english translated version and a Digipack illustrated by main animator Toshie Kawamura. The home video release which will release April 10th is set to retail at $89.98 and have a store price of $71.98. Below is an image you can see showcasing the following.

It should be noted that those who pre-order the import edition before February 29th will receive a special illustration card. The illustration card will feature a drawing of one of the main characters by Kantoku. Right below you can see a image of this, from left to right are the characters Remo, Dual, Dorothy and Sumire.

Let it be known that the following film is a original film by new creative unit Physics Point whom developed both the scenario and illustrations for the film itself. The film won Pony Canyons first ever Anime Adaption Prize which was the grand prize for the event, the adaption has now become its own film and is currently being produced with staff members already in place. The duo of the group consisting of Otono Shimura and Suyuri Hiraume were the winners mind you of the contest and members of Physics point who also won one million yen for their D.Backup concept. The film itself released back on January 9th 2016 and ran for an hour and seven minutes. A plot summary of the film quoted from ANN can be seen below:

A floating space without gravity where an infinite number of lights shine in different colors: The “Box of Wisdom.” Inside of this box, there are multiple worlds, multiple timelines, and there used to be many different people. This is where Dual and Dorothy were fighting with enemies called “Viruses.” Worlds infected by viruses must be erased. That is the duty, the job of these girls. However, one day, Dual and Dorothy feel the presence of a new Virus. Arriving at the scene, they see a girl being attacked by Viruses. After saving the girl, the duo wait for her to awaken so they can ask who she is, where she came from, and where she is going. Finally, when the girl opened her eyes, she gave her name, Rimo, and whispered only one sentence… “I must return to the flower patch…”
